A list of Frequently Asked Questions that should help out if you have any of your own! If you have additional questions after reviewing this and my Terms of Service, please send me an e-mail at email@example.com!
How do I get a commission? I try to open commissions on a monthly basis, and when I do, I offer two chances to snag one! Early bird slots will open first, and these are great and have benefits! - Only contact information required upfront. - Allows one week to gather and send commission information. For an early bird slot, you only need your username and e-mail to sign-up. After that, you have 1 week to fill out an exclusive form with the rest of your commission details. (Early bird slots are limited to 10.) 1 week after early bird slots fill, overflow slots will open. These are the last chance to get in on the month's commission queue. - All commission information required upfront. After overflow slots are filled, invoices will immediately be sent out to BOTH early bird slot holders and overflow slot holders. Payment is due once invoice is received by the client. For more information on payment, please read further down or consult my Terms of Service.
When do you open for commissions? I try to open once every month. I open commissions on a constant basis. I always post heads-up announcements on Twitter, as well as post my opening dates early on my Trello Board. (I may complete queues faster or slower, depending on the amount of work and complexity of work I have to do!) There are always two chances to snag a commission - once when I open the early bird slots, and then again with overflow slots. I always open overflow slots on a Friday at 5PM - 6PM ET whenever possible.
Is there any way I can prepare for commission openings ahead of time? If you can't manage to snag an early bird slot, be sure to have the following handy on commission opening day: - Files of your references. You may upload files directly to my order form. (Character references, outfit reference, anything else you may need.) - If you don't have files, links are fine! Files, however, are preferred. - A description of what you would like. (For reference sheets, have all your information ready! This includes description of your character, all outfits, expressions, etc.) - Your username on a site you use most. (Twitter, FA, or Weasyl.) - Your contact e-mail. - Your PayPal e-mail.
I recommend saving important information or lengthy descriptions in a Notepad or Word file so you may copy & paste it easily into the order form. Information may also be e-mailed to me at a later time, just be sure to fill in the required fields on the form so I may contact you.
How much is [insert item here]? Prices for all commission types I offer can be found on the Prices page!
I've commissioned you but cannot pay you on time! What should I do? While my payment due date is 2 days after receiving your invoice, I understand that circumstances can happen and things can come up! If your payment will be delayed for any reason, please contact me as soon as you can via e-mail.
How long should I expect to wait for my commission? While filling out an order form secures you a space in queue, I complete commissions in the order payment is received. This means, whoever pays first gets their commission completed first, and so on. Because of this, you can expect your commission to be completed merely 1 (business) day after ordering, or it can be up to 4 - 6 weeks (business days counted only) before it is completed - it entirely depends on when you pay. (Invoices are sent out to everyone at the same time to give everyone a fair chance to be the first to pay!) I typically take 20 orders at a time, and because they fluctuate is complexity, full queues usually take 4 - 6 weeks (business days) to complete. My queue is publicly available on Trello, so you can see your commission's status at any time.
The above is an estimate. Things can come up, such as sickness, family emergencies, etc. In the event of something impacting my schedule, I will announce it ASAP in the proper channels.
What are your business days/schedule? I work diligently every Monday - Friday, from 9am - 5pm. I dedicate as much time and attention as I can into each individual commission. Saturday and Sundays are not business days, consequently I do not work on art or answer e-mails during this time. Sick days can happen (I'm human! Not actually a cow, I promise) and if they do occur I make sure to alert everyone on Twitter, Telegram and Discord.
Where can I see your queue? My queue is posted publicly on Trello. I also use it to post notices and WIPs!
Where can I see more examples of your work? I post all of my completed artwork to Twitter, and my favorite pieces right here on this website! You can always also contact me if you'd like to see specific examples of things that you may not be able to find. You can also check out the Gallery page on this website!
I really like this Telegram Sticker Pack commission you did for someone. Where can I download it? My Telegram Sticker Packs follow my same rules as other commissions. The only person to get the files for download is the commissioner. I won't distribute their stickers to the public for download - that is solely up to them! If you find you really like a particular sticker set, please contact the commissioner (owner of the stickers) and ask them if you may download them to use.
